Nina Santos is a Filipina, a proud generalist and a passionate advocate for ethnic communities, migrant rights and gender equality. Nina’s multi-sector professional experience spans across legal, digital comms & social media, youth development, research and project/campaign management.

Nina is the Delivery Manager for MindtheGap.nz, the host of New Zealand’s first pay gap registry and a campaign championing gender and ethnic pay gap reporting. She is in her final year of Law(Hons) and Arts (Politics & International Relations and Sociology) at the University of Auckland. She has worked across multiple Government agencies as well as private & NGO sectors, the most recent being the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Nina sits on the Board of National Council of Women New Zealand (NCWNZ), was named “25 under 25 to watch” by the Asia New Zealand Foundation and recognised as part of YWCA's #Y25 - a list of women under the age 25 who are “the trailblazers, future leaders in their fields, raising their voices, challenging the status quo and fighting for a fairer Aotearoa New Zealand".

She is also part of Asia New Zealand Foundation's Leadership Network.
