She undertakes this research by working collaboratively with people/institutions to solve practical challenges/issues they are facing and aims to create a meaningful impact by acting as a bridge between academia and industry to advance scholarship, research and practice.
At a personal level, she is driven by the value of service and involved in various impact organisations and projects which strive to tackle the social issues facing our communities. She believes this statement by Simon Sinek summarises my life "The value of our lives is not determined by what we do for ourselves. The value of our lives is determined by what we do for others."
